The fraudster, the con and the holy heist.
Led by an expert con-artist, three crooks launch a bogus appeal to raise money for 'victims' of a local disaster in the South Pacific utilising the façade of a fictitious nun, 'Angel Hope', in their scheme. With the aid of this young and pretty latter-day 'Mother Teresa', they get to work. But, when the plan becomes an unprecedented success and raises millions, unscrupulous profiteers, as well as the media and authorities, get wind of the trio's true intentions and come after them.
